Necessary

• Clerk session cookies when Clerk loads (root layout uses ClerkProvider; may load on the waitlist too)
• Theme via `next-themes` / `localStorage`
• Locale — `opinrate.locale` cookie for the Hungarian / English / German public site
• Cookie consent — `opinrate_cookie_consent` (`necessary` | `all`), about 1 year
• In-app: workspace id cookie/storage, sidebar state

These are needed to run the service. We do not use advertising / marketing cookies. There is optional analytics (below): Vercel Web Analytics is enabled on the project and loads only after consent.

Analytics (non-essential — consent required)

Vercel Web Analytics (`@vercel/analytics`) runs today on OpinRate when you choose Accept all on the banner. It collects page-view / performance-style metrics for the public site.

• Category: optional analytics (not required for waitlist or sign-in).
• Load: the code mounts `@vercel/analytics/react` only when consent is `all`.
• Necessary only / no saved choice: the script stays off. We store the choice in the necessary `opinrate_cookie_consent` cookie.

“Accept all” turns Vercel Web Analytics on now.

Third parties

• Vercel — hosting / requests; Web Analytics (only after `all` consent)
• Clerk — auth cookies
• Fontshare CDN — fonts (connection)

Choice

Use the cookie/analytics banner or Cookie settings. Blocking necessary cookies may break sign-in, theme, or language. Analytics is optional and off until you accept.
